So it makes sense for brands to strike partnerships with that TV content or to incorporate some of the attributes that make TV programmes so compelling into their own advertiser content. There are a growing number of ways to do this and throughout the morning, we will present the latest on how advertisers are benefiting from getting closer to content.

From the new discipline of product placement we’ll have consumer research, a round-up of the deals being done and an expert panel; we’ll get excited about how the growing trend of ‘2-screening’ is allowing brands to create engaging gaming content; and we’ll hear from how Waitrose’s content-led approach to their TV strategy has delivered handsomely in business results.
